Outlook Addin Developer for Codeworks

To pilot their Digital Evaluation Vehicle ( DEV ) programme process, Codeworks will be procuring a software supplier ( separate from the OJEU tendering application process) to work on developing an integrated timesheet application prototype. About Codeworks DEV: Codeworks Digital Evaluation Vehicle (DEV) is a digital prototyping service. The DEV programme connects inventors with regional agencies, universities and industry experts to significantly lower the barrier to innovation for software product development. This represents an innovative approach towards supporting a particularly challenging step in software invention: the translation of an idea into a usable product. At Codeworks, we leverage the skills of technical architects and agile software project managers to help us achieve our objectives of project managing the development of 15+ prototypes by 31/03/11. To help reduce the innovation opportunity cost for the inventor, Codeworks facilitates the project management ‘journey' through the technical aspects of the prototype development process. This service can also include linking the entrepreneur with funding opportunities.

Please note that this project is being funded through the Codeworks DEV Programme. Further projects will be funded from this Programme and a number of panels of suppliers are currently being procured through an OJEU procurement process. There is no cross-over between this project and the OJEU process. A supplier awarded a contract under this quotation is not guaranteed to be appointed to one or more of the supplier panels under the OJEU process. Similarly, a supplier’s performance in this project will be ignored when selecting suppliers under the OJEU process. No discussions about the wider DEV programme or the OJEU process will be entered into as part of this project
