Purpose of Job
To develop and maintain the cost-effective delivery and continuous improvement of internal Business Systems to enable the business to operate. Scope of Job – Main Responsibilities
Underpinning all of the responsibilities is the role of providing support and assistance across the Technology, Innovation and Investment Team and wider business, with an expectation of flexibility in undertaking responsibilities in keeping with the needs of the business.

Business Systems Development
• Development of cloud applications using the MS Dynamics and O365 platform in line with the Technology team’s agile development process
• Implementing cloud package systems from concept to delivery – with support of team members and solution vendors
• Systems integration to ensure data flows where necessary between business systems
• Support for all company systems within KPIs defined in the Technology team’s customer care process
• Working with business teams to continuously support, review and improve the business systems platform
• Supporting the Group Services Director in developing the company business systems and technology strategy to maintain the Group’s position as market leaders
• Development of business discovery dashboards and reporting based on customer requirements to enable effective use of business intelligence

Position within Organisation
• The role reports to the Group Services Director
• There are no direct reports into the role

Dimensions & Limits of Authority
• The role holder is not a budget holder but is responsible for managing and monitoring costs of projects within defined budgets. Responsibility for time and task management of projects.

Summary of Knowledge, Skills and Experience – Essential
• Degree in relevant subject or equivalent experience
• Substantial experience in Dynamics 365 CRM and Portals development or a related development environment
• Significant experience of CRM configuration
• Knowledge and experience of using Power BI
• Significant experience of delivering consultancy services to clients
• An in-depth understanding of the project and agile systems development life-cycle
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of risks and implications of system implementation
• High IT literacy
• Logical approach to problem solving and designing workflows for IT systems
• Experience of JavaScript / JQuery

Summary of Knowledge, Skills and Experience – Desirable
• Experience of using O365 applications, specifically SharePoint, PowerApps and Flow for business use.
• Experience using QlikView as a developer
• Using OutSystems as a development tool
• Familiarity with HTML5 and CSS
• Familiarity with C++
• Experience of CX and CI as part of web applications development
