A North East digital agency is looking to recruit a graduate developer on a 6 month (paid) contract through the University of Sunderland internship programme. 

The company is looking for candidates who can demonstrate a strong understanding of software development and Object Orientated (OO) programming to work on developing rich web-based applications. Projects vary significantly and as such you will also gain experience in a wide range of other technologies.

The following requirements are essential:

• A degree and/or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering or Physics.

• Experience in at least one of the following: C#, .Net, Java 2 SE/EE, Objective-C / iOS

The following skills are also desirable:

• Microsoft SQL Server

• ADO.NET Entity Framework

• Web Services (SOAP, REST)

• Web 2.0 (AJAX, Javascript, JQuery, JSON, DOM)

• XHTML, HTML5 & CSS

• Working with Content Management Systems (CMS)

Any experience working within mobile application development is also highly desirable.
