A  Sunderland software firm is looking to recruit a graduate developer on a 6 month (paid) contract through the University of Sunderland internship programme. 

This company is an award winning, dynamic and growing business based in Sunderland specialising in E learning and the development of resources for English, Maths and ICT aimed at the Further Education and Apprenticeship markets.  

The successful candidate will help the firm develop its website and bring to life creative ideas in building and developing web content.

A relevant degree is essential, as are the following skills:

• Proficient user of Adobe Photoshop/ GIMP or other image editing software

• Experience of Web Design (XHTML / HTML5, CSS / CSS3)

• Adobe Flash

• Experience with Actionscript 2.0 and/or later

• Good technical knowledge in building and developing web content

A basic  knowledge of PHP / My SQL is also desirable.
