Web Developer - (Client Side / Front-End) - Junior to Senior Positions available.

Award-winning e-commerce company, GUITARGUITAR.co.uk, are looking to recruit full-time enthusiastic web developers to strengthen its development team in Newcastle, UK.

The technology division at GUITARGUITAR is committed in providing leading-edge software solutions to enable the company to provide customers with the best possible buying experience online and in-store. This is the ideal role for enthusiastic individuals, with a mixture of web development and design skills, to play a key role.

The ideal candidates will have a solid experience of developing dynamically driven websites using an array of technologies and enjoy pushing their knowledge to its limits.

Essential skills include:

• Semantic mark-up skills using XHTML, CSS and JavaScript
• HTML 5 & CSS3
•  jQuery Adobe Fireworks/Photoshop
• Good design experience
• Cross browser testing

Other useful skills include:

•     Working within a Microsoft .NET environment particularly Visual Studio
•     Working within a source controlled environment,
•     SVN, XML/XSLT
•     Mobile Web Development, JQuery Mobile
•     C#, VB, MVC, Classic ASP, 
•     MS SQL Knowledge
