CREATIVE and digital businesses looking to fund their ventures can get the low-down on some of the options available at a special free event later this month.
Organised by creative and digital finance specialist Transmit Start-Ups and sponsored by leading North law firm Ward Hadaway, the Funding Your Creative or Digital Business seminar will see speakers from key providers of finance and business support for the creative sectors in England talk about what they can offer new or growing businesses in the sector.
Each of the five organisations represented – Transmit Start-Ups, Creative Industry Finance, NorthStar Ventures, NBSL and Generator – will each have a 10-minute slot to outline how they can help and the services they have to offer.
A Q&A session will then follow where attendees have the chance to quiz the representatives who will also discuss what they are looking for in businesses, how entrepreneurs can access their services and the application process.
There will then be an opportunity for networking and drinks with fellow attendees.
The event takes place at Dance City in Newcastle from 6pm to 9pm on Monday 26 January.
Damian Baetens, Business Development Director at Transmit Start-Ups, said: “We’re really pleased to have assembled such a strong line-up of creative business funders and advisors here in the North East for this event.
