Sunderland Software City and Sage to hold Scrum workshops

Sunderland Software City in partnership with Sage are offering a Scrum workshops for the first time in August 2013.

The workshops aim to improve business’ product development skills using the widely adopted Scrum methodology.

This is a unique opportunity to learn from experienced professionals who have successfully implemented scrum methodology within a business.

We are excited to be able to offer this programme free of charge to a select number of regional businesses, although places are limited.

The programme consists of 2x full-day training workshops on the 7th & 8th of August. The workshops will take place at Sage’s head office in Gosforth.

Day One

10:00 – 12:00 Overview of Scrum & Challenges to adoption

12:00 – 13:00 Lunch

13:00 – 14:30 Estimation and Planning Poker

14:30 – 15:00 Coffee & Questions

15:00 – 16:30 Scrum Reports, Tools & Metrics

Day Two

9:00 – 10:00 Coffee / Questions from first day

10:00 – 12:00 Scaling Scrum

12:00 – 13:00 Lunch

13:00 – 14:30 Distributed Scrum Exercise – Part 1

14:30 – 15:00 Coffee & Questions

15:00 – 16:00 Distributed Scrum Exercise – Part2

16:00 – 16:30 Questions and Close
