The need for tech-savvy employees is growing every day. Our digital skills programmes help engage tomorrow’s workforce with potential careers in technology and digital entrepreneurship. Our programmes range widely, from working with young people in schools to supporting inmates in prisons.

The North East Digital Skills Audit
In partnership with the UK Tech Cluster Group and Institute of Coding, we delivered the North East Digital Skills Audit in 2021. The audit measures the state of digital skills among employers and job seekers in the North East of England. Click here to download the report.
Go Reboot introduces both adults and young people to the region’s technology sector, with an aim to help them transition back into work. Go Reboot has been developed with industry and is suitable for people of all ages.
Work Inspiration Gateshead
Work Inspiration Gateshead (WIG) is a partnership between Gateshead Council, Gateshead College and Sunderland Software City. WIG focuses on inspiring young people to explore careers in priority sector industries such as technology, construction, healthcare and retail.
Inspire North of Tyne
Funded by North of Tyne Combined Authority, Inspire North of Tyne focuses on raising aspirations and providing opportunities to young people to pursue careers in STEM industries. The programme contains a series of enrichment events open to all secondary schools across the North of Tyne Combined Authority area.
Tech Talent is the biggest tech opportunities event in the region. Attracting over 1,000 delegates every year, Tech Talent features the North East’s most exciting tech employers and skills, training and education providers. For more information, visit our Tech Talent website.
