Organisation growth

Born out of a Digital Catapult NETV challenge day, Wordnerds teaches computers to understand and analyse language using AI and advanced linguistics to extract actionable insights from the data.

Founded in 2017, Wordnerds' innovative feedback analysis tool helps organisations to action customer feedback through topic analysis by using cutting-edge AI and traditional linguistics. Their technology deciphers the true meaning embedded in text, leading to more accurate and actionable insights. This emphasis on understanding language structure ensures that stakeholders can cut through the noise of raw data and gain a profound understanding of consumer sentiments.

Wordnerds is a starburst company that was born out of a Digital Catapult NETV challenge day with Nissan and Pete Daykin, CEO and Co-Founder of Wordnerds, said:

“Digital Catapult NETV helped put together the right circumstances needed for the birth of Wordnerds, and enabled our team to identify a challenge that the market resonated with. With Sophie’s support at Digital Catapult NETV, we were able to ask the right questions and develop a deep understanding of what would be a valuable tool to improve Nissans customer experience in real time.
The opportunity to collaborate with a large organisation like Nissan helped us focus on building a scalable solution that can be adopted by any business, taking Wordnerds quickly out of the starting blocks to grow into a reputable innovative business in its own right.”
